» » County spatial planning plan – PATJ

The county spatial plan - PATJ – is elaborated for the administrative territory of the county and is the spatial expression of its social and economic development programme. PATJ is intended to harmonize the sustainable development of the territory and takes over the provisions of the national or zonal spatial plans.

The elaboration of such plans is a prerequisite for the development of General Urban Plans for component administrative and territorial units. 90% of the counties of Romania have county spatial plans which are endorsed and approved according to law.

Zonal spatial plans – PATZ – and county spatial plans – PATJ - contain short, medium and long term measure programmes aimed at eliminating or ameliorating dysfunctionalities and disparities in the area.
