During 31 May-2 June, Integration Minister Anca Daniela BOAGIU, will make a working visit to Germany, to present German parliamentarians the stage of fulfilling the measures assumed by our country in view of its EU accession on 1 January 2007. During the visit, Minister Anca Daniela BOAGIU will meet with Günter GLOSER, German Minister of State for Europe, Christian SCHLAGA, Director for Bilateral Affairs with EU Member States in South and South-East Europe, Susanne KASTNER (SPD), Bundestag Vice President, Chairperson of Germany-Romania Parliamentary Friendship Group, Elmar BROCK (CDU), Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the European Parliament and Andreas SCHOCKENHOFF, Vice-Chairman of the CDU/CSU party fraction in the Bundestag.
Wednesday 31 May, the Integration Minister will lecture on “Romania on its way to the EU” within the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. On Thursday 1 June, Anca Daniela BOAGIU will participate in the Economic Day 2006, organised by the Economic Council of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The event will enjoy the presence of the Federal Chancellor Angela MERKEL, of the US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Robert M. KIMMITT and other prominent persons of the European political and economic environment.
On Friday 2 June, the Minister of European Integration will attend a conference entitled ”Bulgaria and Romania before EU accession. Current situation and challenges”, organised by the Südosteuropa Association and the Deutsche Welle.
